Culture Minister Presents Maribor's Bid for Culture Capital
Brussels, 16 November - Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti presented Maribor's bid for the European Capital of Culture to the EU culture ministers in Brussels on Friday. Slovenia's second largest city will be the Capital of Culture in 2012, it is meanwhile expected to be proclaimed as such in the autumn of 2008, the minister told the press.
