EU PRESIDENCY: Hague Programme Tops Agenda in Justice&Home Affairs
Ljubljana, 21 November - The Justice and Home Affairs Council is one of the key configurations of the EU Council which Slovenia will preside over in the first half of 2008. The priorities of Slovenia's presidency are clear: they will revolve around the Hague Programme, the monitoring of Schengen standards on the bloc's external borders, police cooperation, migration and asylum policy.
