Barroso, Poettering Trust in Slovenia's Ability to Preside EU

Brussels, 20 November - European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and European Parliament President Hans-Gert Poettering said in Brussels on Tuesday that they completely trusted Slovenia as the next EU presiding country. Similarly, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel estimated in Brussels that Slovenia's image was not tarnished by the latest developments at home.
