EU PRESIDENCY: SMEs in the Focus of Competitiveness Policy

Ljubljana, 28 November - Competitiveness is considered a cornerstone of the EU's development, and the 18-month presidency programme of Germany, Portugal and Slovenia includes the objective to actively supporting all measures and initiatives to boost the bloc's competitive ability. Slovenia is expected to place special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises.
