No Reason for Energy Price Hikes, IMAD Says

Ljubljana, 23 November - It is the government Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development's (IMAD) assessment that the 6% energy price hike announced by electricity distributors for 1 January 2008 will fuel inflation. "In the time when inflation needs all the attention, we don't see any reason for the announced rise," said its acting director Bostjan Vasle.
