EU PRESIDENCY: Turkey Expects Faster Negotiations During Slovenia's Stint

Ljubljana, 4 December - Turkey has been knocking on the EU's door for over 40 years. It is currently amidst negotiations on several policy areas (chapters) and expects, according to Turkish Ambassador to Slovenia Sina Baydur, that more will be opened during Slovenia's EU presidency. Similarly, Slovenia is hopeful that membership negotiations will be sped up during its six-month stint.
