EU PRESIDENCY: Chance to Promote Arts and Culture

Ljubljana, 19 December - Slovenia's presidency of the EU will be accompanied by a series of events designed to promote the country's cultural heritage and arts. Apart from the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, the main highlights will be the 500th anniversary of Primoz Trubar, a Protestant reformer who in 1550 published the first Slovenian book, and a presentation on architect Joze Plecnik in Brussels.
