Solana: For Me This Presidency is Very Important

Ljubljana, 19 December - The EU's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, reiterated his belief on Wednesday that the Slovenian spell at the helm of the EU would be a success. "It has a very tense agenda for six months and I'm sure it's going to be done with the capacity that your country has proven already in many other fields of responsibility," Solana said after talks with President-elect Danilo Tuerk. Solana also met Prime Minister Janez Jansa today.
