Slovenian UN Mission Ready to Take Over EU Presidency

New York, 27 December - The Slovenian mission at the United Nations, headed by Slovenian Ambassador to the UN Sanja Stiglic, will take over the presidency of the EU within the organisation from Portugal on 1 January 2008. The main tasks will include harmonisation of positions of EU members and presentation of adopted positions to the remaining UN members.
