Ljubljana, 28 December - As Portugal gets ready to hand over the helm of the EU to Slovenia, the foreign ministers of the current EU presiding troika of Portugal, Slovenia and Germany issued on Friday a joint statement, stressing that Portugal's clear priorities, based on the idea of freedom, security and the rule of law, played an important part in rounding off EU's priority tasks, such as the Schengen expansion.
