New Food Price Hikes on the Horizon
Ljubljana, 4 January - Even though inflation doubled year-on-year to 5.6% in December, mostly as a result of higher food and oil prices, new price hikes are on the horizon already. As prices of basics such as milk, oil, flour, meat and pasta are set to rise considerably, retailers are blaming higher wholesale prices and producers soaring prices of inputs on the global markets.
