Conference Stresses Importance of Interculturality in Europe

Ljubljana, 7 January - Participants of a conference entitled "Intercultural Dialogue as a Fundamental Value of the EU", including European Education and Culture Commissioner Jan Figel, Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti and European Science and Research Commissioner Janez Potocnik, agreed on Monday that European nations should move beyond mere coexistence and become intercultural societies.
