National Party Puts Forward Vote on Croatia EU Bid

Ljubljana, 17 January - The deputy group of the opposition National Party (SNS) has filed a proposal for a referendum on Croatia's accession to the EU. The vote in which people would be asked whether they agree with Croatia joining the EU on its own will be called if endorsed in a majority vote in parliament, while its result would not be binding on the government.
