Dnevnik Hails Tightening of Govt's Purse Strings

Ljubljana, 19 January - Dnevnik praises on Saturday the government's announcement to fill the budget gap caused by tax relief for the poorest with cuts in defence spending. This will not be difficult, as there is so much money involved in arms deals that even renouncing a small purchase can save dozens of millions euros.
