Mate: Schengen Expansion Impact Assessment Premature
Brussels, 22 January - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate on Tuesday dismissed reports about a sharp increase in illegal migration and people-trafficking following the elimination of passport controls in nine newcomers to the EU just over a month ago. Such assesments are too early and unjutisfied, Mate said in Brussels.
