Giscard d'Estaing Does not See Turkey in the EU

Ljubljana, 29 January - Former French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing told Slovenian reporters on Tuesday that he did not see Turkey as EU member, due to various reasons. He sees more sense in a strengthened Mediterranean partnership, but not under the name of the Mediterranean Union, he said during his one-day visit to Ljubljana.
