Rasmussen Urges EU Leadership in Climate Change Combat
Ljubljana, 30 January - The visiting Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen urged the EU in Ljubljana on Wednesday to assume leadership in the efforts to reach a global deal to fight climate change as a follow-up to the Kyoto Protocol beyond 2012. The UN conference to forge such an agreement is to be held in Copenhagen next year.
