National Party Comes up with New Bid for Treaty Vote

Ljubljana, 30 January - The eurosceptical National Party (SNS) will not give up on its plans to put the Lisbon Treaty to vote. After parliament rejected its motion for a preliminary referendum on the issue and endorsed the treaty on Tuesday, the hardline opposition party came up with a new proposal; this time it wants a subsequent referendum.
