President Launches Trubar Jubilee Year
Ljubljana, 7 February - President Danilo Tuerk unveiled a bust of Primoz Trubar (1508-1586) at the National and University Library (NUK) in Ljubljana on Thursday, thus officially launching the jubilee Trubar year, dedicated to the 500th anniversary of this Protestant reformer who gave Slovenians the first books in their mother tongue.
