Situation after Kosovo Independence Stable, Defence Officials Say

Brdo pri Kranju, 21 February - EU defence officials came to an informal EU defence ministerial in Slovenia on Thursday optimistic about the situation in the Balkans in the aftermath of the declaration of Kosovo's independence. "The situation [in Kosovo] is under control, especially with KFOR support," German Defence Minister Franz Josef Jung said prior to the meeting.
