AI Says Erased Cast Shadow on Slovenian EU Presidency
Ljubljana, 26 February - Amnesty International (AI) called on the EU on Tuesday to make sure that the Slovenian government confronts the issues of the erased, some 18,000 people from the former Yugoslavia who were erased from the country's permanent residence registry in 1992 after failing to apply for Slovenian citizenship.
