EU Leaders Want Climate Change Deal by End of 2008

Brussels, 14 March - EU leaders have come out of an extensive debate on how to achieve ambitious goals in energy and climate change with an agreement that the European Commission's legislative proposal in the area is an "excellent starting point" and basis for agreement by the end of the year.
