EU Leaders Urge China to Show Restraint

Ljubljana, 14 March - EU leaders convening in Brussels as part of the final day of the spring EU summit called on China on Friday to show restrain after violence broke out in Tibet today. Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said that the Slovenian EU presidency would issue a statement urging China to respond to Tibetan human rights concerns.
