EU Presidency Against Boycott of Beijing Olympics

Ljubljana, 20 March - The Slovenian EU Presidency stated on Thursday that boycotting the Olympics was not the right answer to the current political problems. It would mean losing an opportunity to promote human rights, while causing considerable harm to the population of China, sports enthusiasts and, above all, to the athletes themselves.
