EU Council and EP Reach Compromise on Return Directive

Strasbourg, 23 April - The EU Council and European Parliament managed to harmonise on Wednesday the compromise text of the directive on the return of illegal migrants from third countries. Interior Minister Dragutin Mate, who represented the EU Council, expressed his satisfaction after the talks, he however did not reveal any details of the agreement.
