Parliament Passes New Penal Code

Ljubljana, 24 April - Deputies passed on Thursday the new penal code in a 47:0 vote following the walkout by the majority of the opposition parties. The new penal code brings numerous changes, including life sentence, a register of child sex offenders and community service as an alternative form of punishment.
