MPs Pass Changes to Attorneys and Courts Acts

Ljubljana, 24 April - Parliament passed on Thursday in a 41:12 vote amendments to the attorneys act which pave the way for attorney fees to be set by law and no longer by the Bar. The lawmakers also passed changes to the courts act aimed at speeding up court proceedings and reducing the backlog of pending cases.
