EU Extends Sanctions Against Myanmar

Luxembourg, 29 April - EU's foreign ministers, meeting in Luxembourg under the chairmanship of Slovenia's Dimitrij Rupel, agreed on Tuesday to extend sanctions against Myanmar for one year. The ministers also discussed the situation in the Middle East, Iraq and Pakistan, the Slovenian EU presidency wrote in today's press release.
