FM Confident Turkey Will Join the EU

Ankara, 6 May - Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel told senior officials in Ankara on Tuesday that 2008 was crucial for Turkey's reform process, but he is confident of Turkey's prospects of joining the EU. "There is no doubt in my mind that Turkey will eventually become a full-fledged member of the EU," Rupel told the press.
