EU Welcomes Lisbon Treaty Ratification in Lithuania and Latvia

Ljubljana, 8 May - The Slovenian EU presidency welcomed on Thursday the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty in the Lithuanian and Latvian parliaments. The two countries have thus joined the eleven other member states that have already endorsed the treaty, the presidency said in a statement.
