EU Presidency Calls on Iran to Stop Religious Intolerance

Ljubljana, 21 May - The Slovenian EU Presidency called on Iran on Wednesday to end the persecution of the Baha'i religious community, and to uphold the freedom of religion. The presidency expressed the EU's concern about the "continuing systematic discrimination and harassment of the Iranian Baha'is on the grounds of their religion".
