Lawmakers Confirm Referendum on Provinces
Ljubljana, 22 May - The National Assembly confirmed on Thursday a decree for a referendum on establishing provinces in a 46-3 vote, following a walkout by opposition MPs who said the referendum was "a manipulation". The referendum will take place on 22 June, with voters asked whether they agree with the establishment of 13 provinces.
