Interparliamentary Cooperation Key Part of EU-US Partnership

Ljubljana, 24 May - Parliament Speaker France Cukjati told an interparliamentary meeting of delegations from of the European Parliament and the US Congress on Saturday that an enhanced role of lawmakers in the EU-US partnership would strengthen its legitimacy and help preserve the basic goal of "security and prosperity for everyone".
