Committee Chairs Fail to Reach Accord on Biofuels

adds discussion on future of CAP

Ljubljana, 2 June - The chairs of parliamentary committees of EU members, accession candidates and the European Parliament failed to reach accord on Monday regarding biofuels. While some believed that food crops should be used for food only, others pointed to the environmental benefits of using biofuels, a Slovenian official told the press.
