ASEM Meeting Upbeat about Economic Prospects
Seoul, 16 June - EU and Asian finance ministers agreed on Monday that the global economic outlook is upbeat despite the current slowdown. Asia and the EU are much more resilient to external shocks now than they were some ten years ago, although not entirely immune, the ministers agreed at their meeting on the South Korean island of Jeju.
