EU and CoE Sign Fundamental Rights Cooperation Agreement
Strasbourg, 19 June - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic and Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CoE) Terry Davis signed in Strasbourg on Wednesday an agreement between the EU and CoE that is to add value to human rights protection instruments in Europe, and prevent any unnecessary duplication.
