Commission, EU States Come Closer on Production-Related Payments
Luxembourg, 23 June - The European Commission and the member states made progress in Luxembourg on Monday regarding the continuing decoupling of production-related payments. However, while many member states said they wanted such payments intact for some sectors, Agriculture Commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel said these would be abolished by 2013.
