IWC Rejects Increase in Humpback Whale Hunting
Santiago de Chile, 27 June - The International Whaling Commission (IWC) voted at its session on Thursday against Denmark's proposal to raise the annual catch limit for West Greenland by ten humpback whales for 2008-2012, the Slovenian Environment Ministry wrote on its website on Friday.
