Maribor, 14 July - Maribor Mayor Franc Kangler has appointed a 13-member temporary secretariat tasked with preparing Slovenia's second largest city for the challenges ahead of its stint as the European Capital of Culture 2012, which is expected to shortly be confirmed by the EU.
