Study Finds Profitability in Retail Below EU Average

Ljubljana, 2 October - Food prices in Slovenia and profitability in retail and food industries are below the EU average, according to a study commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce. Food prices in Slovenia were well below the EU average before 2000, which is why raw material price hikes have caused them to grow faster than in the bloc since.
