Slovenian Theatre in Trieste Fighting for Survival
Trieste, 8 September - It seems that after months of desperate attempts to secure funds needed to stay afloat, the Slovenian Permanent Theatre in Trieste (SSG) will not be able to open its 2009/2010 season. Representatives of the theatre, which is the cultural heart of the Slovenian minority in Italy, spoke to the press about the situation in Trieste on Tuesday.
