Gorenje Management Kneels Down Before Workers' Demands

Velenje, 16 September - Faced with across-the-board solidarity by workers, who went as far as disbanding their trade union, the management of household appliance maker Gorenje was forced to accept virtually all strike demands on Wednesday. CEO Franjo Bobinac addressed the press as talks were still ongoing, presenting a proposal that also included a pay rise.
