Coalition Starts Debate on Pensions

Ljubljana, 16 September - The coalition on Wednesday opened a debate on the government proposal to freeze pensions as part of austerity measures in the recession. The coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS), which initiated the debate, strongly opposes the move and will not give in, as its leader Karel Erjavec said.
