Compromise on Pension Freeze Remains Elusive

Ljubljana, 21 September - A consensus on the planned pension freeze remains elusive even after Monday's meeting of the ruling coalition, so talks will continue. The junior Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) remains opposed to the freeze, while the prime minister insists agreement must allow for the sustainability of public finances.
