IMF Downgrades Forecast for Slovenia

Washington, 1 October - Slovenia's economy will contract by 4.7% this year, while a 0.6% expansion is expected in 2010, the International Monetary Fund (IMT) said in its mid-year forecast on Thursday. The projection is a downgrade compared to the one published in May, even though the IMF has upgraded its forecast for the global economy as a whole.
