Abanka, Gorenjska Banka to Agree on Merger Plans by End of Year

Ljubljana, 17 October - After signing a letter of intent on a merger at the end of July, the supervisory boards of Slovenia's third largest bank Abanka Vipa and the Kranj-based bank Gorenjska banka are beginning to examine the merger plans. "Further steps for the merger of both banks will be defined by the end of the year," Abanka Vipa CEO Ales Zajdela has said.
