Initiative Calls on Govt to Declare Kras Geopark

Ljubljana, 22 January - A civil initiative called on the government on Friday to protect the natural and cultural heritage in the broader area of the Skocjanske jame park with a temporary decree and to designate the entire Kras region (SW) as a geopark. The Culture Ministry already said it welcomes and supports the idea.
