Govt Trying to Stop Fragmentation of Municipalities

Ljubljana, 15 April - The government adopted Thursday amendments to the local government act that are set to stop fragmentation into ever smaller municipalities. The amendments strike exceptions to the rule that a municipality must have at least 5,000 inhabitants.
