Minister Promises Overhaul of Municipalities Legislation
Ljubljana, 28 April - The government has recently sent to parliament changes to the local government act to stop the country's fragmentation into ever smaller municipalities. The changes are set to prevent the establishment of municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants.
