Ministry Insists Deal with Doctors Not Changing Savings Plan

Ljubljana, 13 September - The Health Ministry rejected on Monday claims that the agreement on standby duty bonuses reached with doctors last week entails the government giving up on the EUR 12.5m in savings envisaged as part of the legislative changes that triggered the doctors' protest. The response comes as doctors are again starting to work overtime.
